Visa account updater (VAu)
Merchants that participate in the Visa Account Updater (VAU) program can now receive update cardholder information for recurring Visa check card transactions. When your card(s) expire, or if they are lost or stolen, and a new card(s) are issued, the service may update relevant card data (card number and expiration date) to appropriate merchants who participate in an effort to facilitate uninterrupted processing of your charges.
This service only applies to recurring Visa check card payments. As a result, you will no longer have to contact the merchant to update your card information which will help prevent disruption of your recurring payments. You may opt out of this feature at any time by contacting your local branch office.
